I have a question concerning being licensed in the US
I read on the massachusetts medical board and the NY board that they both require a pre-med education. What happens if you are in a 6 year medical program straight form high school? This pre-med education as defined by the board is quite rare for other countries and i know there are a lot of foreign trained physicians who entered medical school straight from high school or equivalent in these states, so how does it work?
- Pre-medical Education: completion of a minimum of two or more academic years at a legally chartered college or university which must include courses in biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and physics, or their equivalent as determined by the Board.
