Hi all, I am a US citizen IMG participating in the 2014 Match.
My stats:
-1st Attempt: 230 Step 1, Step 2 CS passed.
-Awaiting Step 2 CK results
-Preclinical GPA: 3.2
-Clinicals: All As save two B+ in Psych and EM
-Member of professional societies
Doing EM aways. Did a 2 week PM&R away where they liked me. I think I have pretty good letters in EM, PM&R and IM. Will have 2 SLORS when I submit to ERAS. Should have a third one by end of November.
So to my question: I am definitely applying to EM. I hope it works out but I know I need a back up. What would you do, any advice on whether to put PM&R or IM as my back up? The thought of applying to 3 specialties is making me go cross eyed.
