So, I really messed up messed up my GPA as an undergraduate. I finished with a GPA of 2.5/4.0, but then I decided I wanted to have a shot at medical school so I went back and took some classes and also the US med school pre-requisites and pulled it up to a 3.0/4.0, with an upward trend and great GPA in my science courses. I haven't taken the MCAT yet, and of course I'll apply to some DO schools in the US when I do, but who knows if I'll be competitive for those. I really don't want to spend four years in the Caribbean and Australia seems like a much better option for me, having done a working holiday visa there before.
With that said, has my GPA sunk me? Is there any score on the MCAT that would make me somewhat competitive for Aus schools?
