Welcome to the Health Careers Academy USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills Course!
We are a program that will guide and help you in your journey of becoming a fully licensed physician in the United States of America.
In this course, you will expect to enrich your knowledge and prepare yourself for the patient encounters on the actual Step 2 Clinical Skills Exam. Our Objectives are:
To provide you of a clinical set up/ examination set up that you will encounter on the actual Clinical Skills Examination
To Provide Standardized patients to simulate different cases
To Familiarize you on how to use the diagnostic tools that you will be encountering on the exam
To Guide you on how to formulate differential diagnosis and how to support them
To guide you on how to type a patient note and maximize your allotted time
To evaluate your performance and readiness to take the exam
To provide support and information even after your course or until you finally take your exam
Your performance will be evaluated by our board certified Family Physician. After the patient encounter, our Standardized Patient together with our Physician will provide feedback on how you perform and give you pointers on how to be more efficient in history taking and building patient rapport.
