I just recently purchased this car because I was planning on living in maho or simpson bay but since I will be living close by the school, I no longer need it.
This car is a beast. 0-60 in no time. 200,000 km or 124,000 mi gets around ~24 mpg give or take. It is a volvo. I put in a lot of work into this car so you don't have to:
2 new front rotors
2 new back rotors
new front and back ceramic breaks
New right brake line
2 new stabilizer links (made a rattle underneath due to the suspension but since then has been fixed)
Ice cold A/C (recharged)
Full engine service --> includes 7 quarts engine oil, new oil filter, new air filter, degreased & cleaned engine, cleaned throttle body...basically the works
Previous work done: Strut bearing plate with bearing replaced, A/C repaired
Tinted windows to ride in style
CD player with AUX port & cable included
Comfortably seats 5 people
V6 for power through EVERYTHING.
Fun to drive.
I can teach you how to drive stick (took me like 2 days--I learned on the island) if you are willing to buy. One problem is that the power steering belt is a little loose, when I brought it to my mechanic, he could not adjust it because it is a self-adjusting belt so he advised me to order a new one, which I did not want to wait for. It is not really a big deal, the only thing that happens is a squealing noise when the belt has any significant moisture on it and sometimes when you turn the steering wheel in either direction all the way to one side it will squeal.
I drove it through the super flooded road by the golf course, drove it up the hill to P-burg and over the french side many times. The engine is solid and I'm sure it has thousands more miles left on it. This car was very well-maintained by me and I have all of the papers of work done, etc.
Car has automatic locks and the windows in the front are automatic while the back windows are manual. The car comes with a spare tire, jack, jumper cables, the works. The jack is fully functional, not a rusted-out POS. You probably won't even need the jack because the tires are solid.
