Hi everyone,
New to the forums - been lurking for a bit but never contributed. I've recently graduated with a BA and I'm interesting in a career in medicine. I've applied to Graduate Entry Medicine programs in England and sat the horrid GAMSAT in September but I'm looking in to back up options in case it doesn't workout for me.
After a lot of research, I've looked in to programs in Italy and Czech Republic. I just had a few questions regarding student experience in Prague/Brno. I would like to return to the UK after graduating and would like the opportunity to do clinical rotations in England or other countries. I'm also open to applying US residencies after graduating but I haven't really thought about that yet and I might have to look more in to that in the future.
Is there much of a difference in prestige/teaching quality between Charles faculties? How are these qualities comparatively in Brno?
I'm an active student, so would like the ability to participate in student organisations and events etc so if that is a feature at a particular faculty or university, I'd appreciate any advice :).
I understand these are pretty broad questions but I really hope someone can help out or offer any advice.
I'm aware of the entry requirements for Charles faculties (all different ones) and Brno - I've spent a good amount of time on the websites. I just wanted to know about the difference in reputation between the faculties and how Brno ranks in comparison. What would be recommended for someone wanting to return to the UK etc?
Any advice is highly appreciated. I tried looking at past threads to check if these questions had been asked before but didn't find a suitable answer.
Thanks :)
