Why it is important to review and understand the theory before start practicing questions?
It is very important to understand the theory in order to answer USMLE questions. Without A B C D you cannot write a sentence.

Can’t I just practice questions and take the USMLE exam?
USMLE Step 1 exam requires you to know more than 5000 concepts and the question banks don’t explain all the 5000 concepts.

One concept can be asked in many ways. If you just do the questions you might have learned one way and you will not be able to answer if the questions are asked in a different way. It’s like if you just know one way to get to a destination and if that road is closed you won’t know the different routes to get to the destination.
What do we do during the preparation?
We use First Aid for USMLE Step 1 book as a SYLLABUS and take each topic from that book and further discuss/explain and break down the concept in a simple way to point where it is very easy to understand. REMEMBER WE DO NOT READ THE FIRST AID PAGE TO PAGE. READING THE FIRST AID CAN BE DONE BY STUDENTS THEMSELVES.

For instance, Hyperaldesteronism is written in 6 to 7 lines in the book. We take that topic and discuss and break down to the point any student can understand and handle any type of challenging questions.
We do not stop with breaking down the concepts, we also teach test taking skills and strategies.
For example!
How to analyze and understand the questions,
How to narrow down the options to 2 and choose the best answer,
How to exclude the wrong answers in a situation where you do not know the right answer, etc.
Why do we use First Aid not other books?
First Aid for step 1 book is ranked as a world’s best selling medical review book.

What should a student do after the 4 weeks of preparation?
We highly recommend our students to take a week to review and recollect all the information that was given by Medical Legends and then start doing USMLE World questions. We strongly recommend the students to do UWorld twice before they take the USMLE Step 1 exam.

How to handle the USMLE WORLD questions?
Medical Legends advise the students to do the UWORLD in tutor plus system mode during the first time and timed plus mixed mode during the second time to get the maximum knowledge from Uworld. Students will be counseled individually 1 on 1 during the course and after the course until their exam.

During the counseling we will teach the students how to read the explanation and take notes from Uworld. It is very very important to do the Q bank in a right way that sharpens your knowledge and test taking skills.
Why USMLE WORLD Qbank?
Simple, there is no better Qbank on this planet other than USMLE WORLD. The whole world is following the UWorld. No one has written a standard and challenging questions which prepares you to Rock the USMLE exam with the flying colors other than Uworld. Medical Legends is not marketing Uworld. It a proven true fact. For more information visit

Can’t I take the USMLE Step 1 exam after the review course without doing Qbank?
The answer is NO. You need a stone and cement to build a building. You cannot build a building with stone alone nor cement alone.

Review course is to understand the theory, which is a passive learning, and practicing a Qbank is to see if you can apply the knowledge, which is an active learning.
If a student follow these guidelines and methods and stick to that plan, Medical Legends guarantees that student can score more than 220 +. Even absolutely possible to score 240 + if a student puts additional (True) hard work and dedication.
Remember Nothing is impossible. If you take the impossible word and separate, it comes as I’m possible.
