Hello!
I'm a 23 year old Mexican student at UAG, born and raised here in Guadalajara and from the Latino Program.
I'm currently at HAL. I'm aiming at passing USMLE steps because I'd like to do Internal Medicine at some U.S. hospital, I know what has to be done, how to study and all that jazz.
What I'm worried about is the quality of the teaching we get at school, because I know USMLE is not the same as ENARM and we don't get taught in the same way an AMG would.
That's why I've decided to take one semester off to study for the boards
I came here for your opinion.
Do you guys think 6 months of studying is good enough for a decent Step 1 grade?
How about my studying material? (I'm going to use Kaplan 2010 videos, Newest Kaplan Lecture Notes, Pathoma, Kaplan Qbank and 2015 FA)
Would that suffice?
Thanks for your time
