Poland or Romania?

Hey everybody!

I'm a German student and would like to apply for admission into one of the 6-year MD programs either in Poland or Romania (or are there any other options I don't know about? :D). After graduation, I would like to work in the US. I know that some Polish Medical Schools are approved by the California Medical Board and Romanian's aren't at all. On the other side, I read some bad things about Polish Medical Schools, e.g. that professors don't care for their students and that it is difficult.
My questions:
1. What would you suggest - Should I choose Polish or Romanian program?
2. Also, is it true that after graduation one would have to do an extra year of practical training before being able to do the residency (in the Polish degree)?
3. I am German - should I apply for the European or American program?
4. Do students in Romania or Poland have free-time? I saw the schedules and they were full from 8.00am to 8.00pm. Students in Germany have lots of free time.
5. My last option is to study something-health related in the UK or in the US for four years and then hope to (if I still want to) be able to get into one of the 4-year graduate programs in the UK. Otherwise, I'd have to apply for advanced entry in Poland.

Thank you guys!
