Hi everyone.
I am new here and have been researching med schools for a while now. I am an Indian citizen who has completed BSc. (Hons) from a UK university and am interested in pursuing medical education. I was awarded a 2:2 degree so my options were very limited to get into standard universities in UK. During my research I stumbled upon medical schools in the Caribbean and after a lot of searching narrowed down the choices to 2. St. Georges University has a brilliant track record of graduating doctors and placing them in the system. Considering that I am an International students and would have difficulties in getting accepted in to a residency, I decided to look at the INTO St. Georges university of London programme too. The SGUL INTO programme is good considering the St. Georges prestigious degree but since its a new course I am not too sure about it. Also, after graduating, I would face the same problems of gaining a residency in America and they also say that getting accepted in to a FY1 training is also not guaranteed since I am not a EU national.
I am very confused as to which school shall I go to. Any opinions or advise would me much appreciated.
Thanks all.
